Shirley recently moved from Sydney to live near the rainforests and the ocean.
She is a qualified Optical Dispenser with over 25 years of experience. Shirley has worked in optical research laboratories, corneal transplant clinics and has spent the last 15 years working in Optical Practice.
Shirley has worked as a hospital scientist, Transplant Co-ordinator, Trainer and has also held positions in education with the Macular Disease Foundation. She is a qualified TAFE trainer and has been instrumental in establishing and supporting community mental health programs.
Shirley loves the outdoors and nature. Her passion is distance running. She is currently training for another ultramarathon and her second triathlon.
